As school starts to pick up, you’ll need a few new shows and movies to de-stress, and binge-watch by yourself or with friends.

Luckily, plenty of new content is coming to Netflix this April, and it will keep you entertained while getting through the last full month of classes.

Whether you enjoy drama, comedy or documentaries, there is will be something for everyone to watch next month.

1. “The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants” (1 & 2) — April 1

Fans of the movie and book series will rejoice when not one, but two of these classic coming-of-age movies are released on the same day. Grab your BFFs and relive 2005 all over again with Blake Lively, America Ferrera, Alexis Bledel and Amber Tamblyn.

The movies are centered around four teenage girls during their summers apart, where they grapple with family issues, love and friendship. However, they remain connected by a magical pair of blue jeans.

2. “Kevin Hart: Irresponsible” — April 2

Fans of stand-up comedy will enjoy Kevin Hart’s debut special, which premieres on April 2. He covers topics such as parenting and marriage. He’ll even talk about his cheating scandal.

3. “The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina: Part 2″ — April 5

April 5 is the day many people have been waiting for since they binge-watched the last episode of Part 1 of “The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina,” which premiered last October. The series is a much darker adaption of the original series “Sabrina the Teenage Witch.”

Our protagonist, Sabrina Spellman, wrestles with her identity of a half-witch/half-mortal and must fight dark forces along the way. Fans can expect more dark magic and coming-of-age problems, including a love triangle, in the second installment of the series.

4. “Our Planet” — April 5

“Planet Earth” fans rejoice: Netflix is releasing a new nature documentary called “Our Planet” next month, and yes, it’s voiced by David Attenborough. The documentary is broken up into eight separate parts, each highlighting the pressing issues that nature faces today.

“Our Planet” will not only showcase the beauty of the planet, as it will inspire audiences to take action to save it.

 5. “Unicorn Store” —April 5

Brie Larson’s directorial debut “Unicorn Store” will appeal to fans of quirky comedies. The film follows a young woman named Kit, played by Brie Larson, who fails out of art school and moves back in with her parents.

While working a mindless office job, Kit receives an invitation to a place called “The Store.” A salesman played by Samuel L. Jackson offers to sell her a unicorn, but first she must prove herself worthy.

 6. “You vs. Wild”  — April 10

In December, Netflix released its first interactive film “Black Mirror: Bandersnatch,” which gave viewers a new way of watching media content. On April 10, Netflix will release another interactive series with a much different premise than “Black Mirror.”

The series “You vs. Wild” stars Bear Grylls, the survival television personality known for the series “Man vs. Wild.” The twist is that audiences will be able to choose the decisions Grylls makes (although Grylls will still be safe no matter the choice, as this series is not nearly as dark as the last interactive one).

 7. “Black Summer” —April 11

Anyone who loves zombie movies will be happy to see that Netflix is debuting a binge-worthy zombie horror series on April 11.

The series will feature everything that makes a zombie film or show great: Groups of survivors, a separated family and a strong female protagonist. “Black Summer” is the perfect series to watch before the third season of “Stranger Things” premieres in the summer.

8. “Special”  — April 12

“Special” is a new series on Netflix based on Ryan O’Connell’s memoir “I’m Special: And Other Lies We Tell Ourselves.” O’Connell serves as the creator, producer and star of the show, which follows his life as a gay man with cerebral palsy.

The series follows the real ups and downs of O’Connell’s life, including what it is like to hide both your disability and sexuality. The episodes are less than 20 minutes each, making “Special” a quick and easy show to binge-watch.
