Political parody channel on the rise: Romney Rock!

Posted by admin on Wednesday, October 10, 2012

With the 2012 election campaigns in full swing, there could not be a better time for political parodies. Whether we’re slapping our knees watching Saturday Night Live, or pointing and laughing at Obama and Romney memes, we just can’t get enough of politics and comedy. Every year, it’s usually the same ole mudsling of jokes between Republicans and Democrats. This election, however, a new YouTube channel “Romney Rock!†features spoof videos about two of Mitt Romney’s five sons.

The video series, “Romney Rock! Young Americans for Romney presents a show FOR youths BY youths!,†features Tagg and Craig playfully poking fun at their dad and the election in general. As they visit areas of New York City, interview people on the street and showcase popular Internet videos, it’s quite clear these boys have a funny bone. Check out Romney Rock! and get your giggle on (while you contemplate deep political issues, of course):
